Walk-In Services

The Counseling Center offers walk-in services for students during business hours. A student may wish to use a walk-in appointment to talk about a particular concern that does not require ongoing services to address, or they may be experiencing an urgent matter that requires immediate support. As the name indicates, these kinds of meetings are not scheduled in advance and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

There are two kinds of walk-in services offered at the Counseling Center. If a student knows in advance which kind of service they are interested in, they can indicate this when they arrive to the front desk. It is not required to know which kind of walk-in service they want or need—a student only has to say that they are at the Counseling Center to be seen as a walk-in.

Let’s Talk

Let’s Talk is a kind of walk-in service for non-emergency, non-crisis concerns. Students are eligible to receive up to two Let’s Talk appointments per semester. Visit the Let’s Talk page for more information.

Emergency Walk-In

Emergency walk-in appointments are for students who are experiencing a mental health emergency or crisis. Visit the Emergency Walk-In page for more information.
